What is Nitrile?
Nitrile is a synthetic form of rubber, or more precisely a co-polymer which is called nitrile butadiene. It is a strong, durable but pliable synthetic material composed of acrylonitrile, butadiene and carboxylic acid. Each component confers specific properties to the rubber compound. Acrylonitrile gives it chemical resistance, butadiene increases flexibility and durability, and the carboxylic acid makes the manufacturing process easier.
